Visiting professor at various Universities in Germany, Italy, France and in most Latin American countries. Doctor Honoris Causa in five of them.

Michele Taruffo (1943-2020)

Emeritus Professor of Civil Procedural Law at the University of Pavia, member of the Accademia dei Lincei; life member of the American Law Institute, member of several scientific associations in Italy and abroad. Author of a huge and influential work dedicated to the study of evidence and judgment, among other relevant topics in the discipline. He has been visiting professor at several foreign universities such as Cornell University, the University of Girona and many universities in Latin America, with nine Honoris Causa doctorates.

Llorenç Bujosa Vadell

Full Professor of Procedural Law at the University of Salamanca. President of the Ibero-American Institute of Procedural Law. Coordinator of the Doctorate Program "Administration, Justice and Finance in the Social State" at the University of Salamanca. Author of various monographic works and articles in specialized reviews. He frequently defends his presentations at congresses, conferences, and courses both in Spain and in other European and American countries.

Giulio Illuminati

Former Professor of Criminal Procedural Law at the University of Bologna and lecturer of Criminal Procedural Law at the Luiss "Guido Carli" University in Rome; member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Penal Law. He participated in the drafting of the Italian Code of Criminal Procedure. Director of the Commentario breve al codice di procedura penale (third edition, Cedam Wolters Kluwer 2020).

Rosa Ruggiero

Marien Aguilera Morales

Full Professor of Procedural Law at the Complutense University of Madrid. She is a member of the Procedural Law Section of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation of Spain; she is author of more than a hundred scientific works on various branches of her discipline.

Gina Gioia

PhD, teaches Civil Procedural Law at the Tuscia University e in the past was teaching Civil Procedural Law at University of Padua. She spent long time in Universities abroad and she achieved the AvHumboldt fellow at the Humboldt Universität Berlin. Her research is mostly in civil procedural law and partially in private law, both Italian and comparative. She is author of two monographs, a hundred articles and editor of some volumes.

Laura Carballo Piñeiro

Full professor of Private International Law at the University of Vigo. Scholarship holder of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. She is the author of an extensive work on International Procedural Law, and has been a visiting professor at various European and Latin American universities and institutions, including the Hague Academy of Private International Law.

Luca Passanante

Full Professor of Civil Procedural Law (chair) at the University of Brescia, where he teaches Civil Procedural Law and Comparative Civil Procedure. He is a delegate of the Faculty for the Erasmus + project and international relations and is a member of the board of directors of the Linguistic Centre of the Ateneo. He is a Lawyer and PhD (University of Bologna). He has carried out various research stays abroad, especially in the United Kingdom in Edinburgh, Cambridge and Oxford. He has published three books and numerous articles, and has directed and participated in various research projects. He is professor at the Superior School of the Judiciary and has been speaker at multiple seminars and conferences in Italy and abroad. He is member of the Associazione Italiana fra gli Studiosi del Processo Civile, the International Association of Procedural Law, the Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Processual and the Italian British Law Association.
